Peripheral Component Interconnect Definition

(PCI) A high-speed local bus standard developed by Intel. The PCI standard is designed for connecting peripherals to a PC. PCI provides convenient "plug and play" capability. It can run at 33MHz or 66MHz with 32-bit or 64-bit data paths.
